FEEDING AND SWALLOWING PROGRAM

EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM

For children ages 0-3. Goal is to address any current or questionable delays that may impact ability to thrive in important areas of development.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROGRAM

To enhance development in fine motor, gross motor, balance, emotional regulation, posture, coordination, conduct, movement processing, reflexes, or motor planning skills. Focus on achievement of developmental milestones to attain success in activities of daily living.

SENSORY INTEGRATION PROGRAM

Much of development and learning depends on integration of our senses.  The focus of this program is to look carefully at the Sensory Motor System and perform interventions to improve a child’s ability to process and adapt to sensory input. Our team is highly skilled in brain-based exercises designed to enhance maturation of the vestibular, proprioceptive, auditory, tactile, visual, olfactory, and interoception systems. The goal is to enable the nervous system to receive messages from the senses and turn them into appropriate motor and behavioral responses for improved self-regulation and quality of life.

SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM

Focus is to teach social skills focusing on conversation maintenance, perspective taking and reading the emotions of others.  Goal is to increase self-esteem and facilitate the development of friendships, family relationships, and involvement in extracurricular activities to promote positive social experiences.
